Showing oneself to the camera, pretending to be someone else, not recognising oneself. Joan Fontcuberta says "Even though paradoxically is only by hiding that we are revealed, merely posing involves both placing ourselves in a stage and slipping off the mask." Which is the relationship between disguise and deception? The images show a feigned attitude, the snapshot is presented as proof of this lie, as a prophecy not fulfilled, as an evidence that the appearance slips and is transformed by light.
