Don't know how to get there. I have a very vivid image in my head but have completely forgotten the way. Three coloured doors. The line is getting blurry and I'm starting to fear it might not even be a line, could be anything. Could be sign, a smudge. Something blocking the way. I could keep on walking for hours with that same image in my head. And people in and out of doors. I might go for it, I might get to a level or a lake where I can finally think clearly.
The editorial story for Billie Sunday's first collection Sand Paradise is inspired by Palm Springs in the early 60s, unfolds over five days and plays out like a sunny sixties thriller: stories, parties, neighborhoods, and pursuits which blend together.
