AUTÒNOMA
Editorial story for De Ubieta's footwear collection Autònoma. Design line comprised of three styles of footwear that identify with the needs and time periods available to the autonomous worker: work, leisure and rest - wich are dissolved due the increasing links between technology, the internet and social networks with day-to-day life and labor.

Entrepreneurial spirit, lauded as an economic engine, is often resulting in a precarious and individualistic life for the autonomous worker. This, in turn, affects the body, which is capitalized and moulded, and treated as the driver and generator of economic power. Consequently, the worker subjectively identifies with adjectives that apply to their corporeal existence: flexibility, connectivity, visibility, consistency, fluidity and irregularity; allowing them to integrate under capitalist values.
